Service Terms & Conditions
Please be advised that the client acknowledges and expressly agrees to the following policies, terms and conditions and further expressly authorizes AJ Limousine to charge client’s credit card in full for all charges relating to the reservation with AJ Limousine. The client’s credit card will also be charged in full in case of a no show. Service is deemed rendered, whether the client enters the vehicle or not, When the cancellation period cut-off time is reached. AJ Limousine reserves the right to modify the company policy at anytime and without prior notification. Please contact AJ Limousine customer service if you have any concerns about our policy.
- Additional Charges: Additional charges will be itemized on the customer’s billing statement when applicable (e.g. tolls, parking, airport and regulatory fees, fuel surcharge).
- Smoking & Alcohol: Client agrees that there will be absolutely no smoking in our vehicles. All alcohol must be provided by the passengers. All passengers must be 21 years of age and have valid state issued ID to consume alcohol in our vehicles. Client also assures that no illegal drugs are brought into our vehicles.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Sedans: Cancellations within 4 hours of scheduled service and/or cancellations without prior notification to AJ Limousine will results in full charge.
- Stretch Limousines, 14 Passenger Vans, 7 passengers SUVs: Cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled service and/or cancellations without prior notification to AJ Limousine will result in a minimum charge of 4 hours. Please notify us for any changes/cancellations at least 3 weeks ahead of time for any Wedding or Prom reservation. A minimum of 6 hours will be charged during prom and wedding season.
- All 20+ passengers Vehicles: Cancellations within 72 hours of scheduled service and/or cancellations without prior notification to AJ Limousine will results in a minimum charge of 5 hours.
- Cannot Locate Chauffeur: If you have difficulty locating your chauffeur, please call 202-380-9450 or our toll free number (1-888-729-1116) ASAP, to avoid a cancellation charge. The above cancellation terms represent standard policy at AJ Limousine and may be modified from time to time based on market, desired reservation dates and vehicle availability. All modifications that are mutually agreed upon in writing or communicated and confirmed at the time of reservation will supersede the above.
- Change in Travel Plan: Please call AJ Limousine ASAP if your travel plans change or if you miss your flight so that our dispatchers can modify your reservation.
- Wait Time - Airport Transfers: AJ Limousine monitors the status of all commercial flights for all three major airports (Dulles airport (IAD), BWI airport, Regan National (DCA)). All airport transfers allow for 45 minutes wait time due to flight and baggage delays. If the customer requests additional wait time at either the pickup or destination location, it will be added to the transfer rate, which will be the hourly rate of the vehicle provided and prorated at fifteen (15) minute intervals.
- Wait Time – Non-Airport Transfers: Customers are provided fifteen (15) minutes of wait time after the scheduled pickup time. Wait time beyond the fifteen (15) minutes will incur the transfer base charge plus the hourly charge prorated in fifteen (15) minute intervals.
- Hourly Rate Policy: When limo service with multiple stops (including stops en route and wait and return) is provided exclusively within five miles from Washington, DC, hourly rate will apply and there will be no mileage charge. A $25 minimum includes the first half hour of service. Hourly charges will commence upon arrival of your vehicle but not sooner than the scheduled reservation. The hourly rate does not apply for airport service. A $10.00 fee will be added for all services from the airports. This charge includes waiting time of up to 45 minutes, parking fees and meeting passengers at baggage claim. Additional waiting time will be billed at $12.00 per each fifteen minutes or fraction thereof. For airport rates to/from other locations, please call 703-542-4013 or 1-8888-729-1116. Airport trip with one quick stop en-rooted (not deviating more than half a mile) is free with no extra charge. All other interim stops will be charged the fractional hourly rates. Please note that tolls and parking may be additional. A 20% gratuity will be added to all charges.
- Early & Late hour pick up: An additional $10.00 will be added to the bill for any ride between the hours of 12:01a.m. - 06:30 a.m. EST).
- Luggage Policy: Client agrees that the passenger + luggage capacity of the vehicle provided will not exceed the manufacturer's specifications. If additional luggage space is needed, passenger must notify us at the time of reservation.
- Rate Quote: Rates quoted prior to service rendered are only an initial estimate of the cost of services reserved. Wait time and/or additional services may change the final price.
- Holiday Travel Policy: A 20% surcharge will be added to reservations booked on New Year’s Eve/Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
- Fuel Surcharge: For services in the United States and Canada, the Fuel Surcharge is calculated based on the Energy Information Agency's (EIA's) published national averages. Quoted amount may differ from billed amount based on rates in effect when services are provided.
- Lost or Damaged Items: Please note that AJ Limousine and its Affiliates assume no liability for any lost or misplaced personal property or any other item left in the vehicle. AJ Limousine reserves the right to charge a delivery fee for returning lost items if found.
- No Show Policy: A no-show fee equal to the full price of the trip, plus any applicable waiting time fee, will be charged when the passenger(s) fails to arrive at the designated location. To avoid a no-show fee, call 703-542-4013 if you cannot locate your vehicle.
- Payment Method: We accept all major credit cards, and also provide monthly billing to our corporate accounts.
- Termination of Reservation: AJ Limousine reserves the right to terminate any reservation at any time in the best interest of the AJ Limousine Company, customer safety, driver safety, vehicle safety, and federal/state/local laws. In case of misconduct by your party, chauffeur has the right to terminate this agreement without refunds. Client holds limousine service harmless and not liable for any personal or material damages arising from the conduct of his/her party.
- Vehicle Damage/Cleaning: The Party paying for the Reservation is responsible for all damages and/or cleaning charges incurred by the renter and/or Party of the Renter, including but not limited to: Vomit/Sickness ($150 Cleaning Fee), Alcohol Spillage ($100, Cleaning Fee), Burns (minimum of $500 Replacement/Repair), Upholstery Tears (minimum of $500 Replacement/Repair) and/or Opening a Car Door into another Vehicle or Stationary Object ($ varies by incident) etc.
- Credit Card on File: AJ Limousine requires a credit card on account for all bookings. All credit cards will be pre-authorized/validated prior to the booking confirmation.
- Inclement Weather Policy: AJ Limousine cannot be held responsible for mechanical problems, heavy traffic, inclement weather, or other uncontrollable circumstances resulting in the inability to start a job as scheduled or complete a Job. In the event that the requested vehicle cannot be provided, AJ Limousine may provide a similar vehicle.
